Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts will present a live performance of the three-time Tony award winning play, Urinetown the Musical, at the Strand Theatre in Old Forge on Saturday, August 8 at 2 p.m.

Set in a world where water is scarce and corporations control the plumbing, Urinetown satirizes the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, municipal politics and corporate mismanagement.

In a Gotham-like city, a water shortage caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets.  Continue reading →
