Eagle Bay Tree Party set Dec. 6

The Town Of Webb and the Eagle Bay Fire Department Ladies Auxiliaries will kick-off the holiday season with a Tree Lighting Party on Saturday, December 6.

The event will begin  at 5 p.m. at the new Eagle Bay Welcome Center located at the corner of Big Moose Rd. and Rte. 28.

Christmas caroling around the community Christmas tree will be followed by the tree lighting. Once the tree is lit, all are invited to enjoy refreshments and a pot luck supper at the Eagle Bay Fire Hall. Participants are asked to bring a dish to pass.

Forestport: Light Parade, Tree Lighting set

The Town of Forestport’s 3rd Annual Light Up Parade will be held Sunday, December 7.

Line-up and registration for individuals and groups will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the parking area across from St. Patrick’s Church.

Everyone in the Electric Horse Parade is asked to carry some type of lighting. Unmotorized decorated crafts such as wagons, strollers, wheelbarrows and carriages are allowed. Continue reading

Eagle Bay sets tree lighting for December 3

The Eagle Bay Fire Department will host a Tree Lighting Party on Saturday, December 3, sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary and the Town of Webb.

The event will begin with caroling and the community Christmas Tree Lighting at 6 p.m. at the corner of Big Moose Rd. and Route 28.

Following the tree lighting, all are invited to bring a dish to pass and enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors. Soups, food, and desserts will be provided. Santa will be making an appearance to bring Christmas gifts for the young kids.
