The Town of Webb Board is considering a policy change regarding its sick leave provisions for town employees.
Specifically, the board is exploring a means of providing additional sick days to employees, whose allotment of sick days may have run out.

The Town of Webb Board considered and adopted resolutions needed to conduct town business in 2016 at an Organizational Meeting held on Monday, January 4 in Old Forge.
Regular Town Board meetings were designated to be held on the second Tuesday of each month.
Depositories will be the Old Forge branches of Community Bank and Adirondack Bank.
The Town of Webb, which alternates its newspaper yearly, designated the Adirondack Express for legal advertising in 2016. Continue reading

The Town of Webb Board’s December 8th meeting was its last monthly meeting of the year, so its members took the opportunity to offer acknowledgments and reflective thoughts to each other and the public.
Councilwoman Mary Brophy Moore will be leaving the board at the end of the month, so she took time to say thank you and recap her time on the Board.
Councilwoman Moore chose to not seek reelection, as her husband Robert Moore was running this year for town supervisor. Continue reading

Town of Webb resident Ed Weidman addressed the town board at its November 10th monthly meeting, asking Supervisor Ted Riehle about an editorial that appeared in The Weekly Adirondack’s October 22nd edition.
The editorial dealt with the topic of “Executive Sessions” (public governing bodies conducting business outside of public view).
