St. Pio’s readies final Mass of Season

St. Pio’s Old Roman Catholic Summer mission in Thendara will hold its final Mass of the season on Sunday, August 21 at 10 a.m.

The Mission will be closing earlier than usual this summer due to unavoidable Church related travel and meeting with Roman Hierarchy scheduled to be held the following weekend.

The Most Reverend Euler, D.D., the Priest in charge of the Mission would like to thank all who have supported the Mission with their prayers, donations, and attendance this summer.

The Mission will reopen in the spring as usual. As always, all are invited to attend the Latin Masses.

St. Pio’s is located at 333 Greenbridge Road, across from the old bottling plant.

Thendara: St. Pio’s to resume Latin Masses on Sunday, June 19

The Most Rev. Richard Euler, Priest in Charge of St. Pio’s Old Roman Catholic Summer Mission, announces that the first offical Mass of the 2011 summer season will be held Sunday, June 19 at 10 a.m., at 333 Green Bridge Road, Thendara, across from the Old Bottling Plant.

Masses have been ongoing since Ascension Thursday and will continue thru Labor Day. Masses are held each day at 8 a.m. during the week and at 10 a.m. on Sundays. All Masses are the Traditional Mass of St. Pius V presented in Latin.

Euler is the Auxiliary Bishop of the Old Roman Cahtolic Diocese of Florida under The Most Rev. John J. Humphreys, D.D., with churches in and around Florida and Tennessee.

The group is dedicated to preserving the traditional liturgy some 1,500 years old.

Since the Latin Mass has been given greater emphasis in recent years, St. Pio’s offers a summer opportunity to either refresh your memory of this liturgy or to attend and see it for the first time.

All are invited and encouraged to attend.
