CAP-21 seeks nominees for recognition awards

CAP-21 will present its Tip of the CAP community recognition awards program on Thursday, October 20 and is seeking nominations of individuals who live in the towns of Forestport, Webb, Inlet or Long Lake who have made a positive contribution to their communities.

Nominations are being sought for the following categories:

Business Leader – recognizing an area business owner within your town that consistently gives back to their community in any number of ways;

Community Organization Award – a volunteer, non-profit, club, association, or community group that through their work makes their town a better place to live;

Good Neighbor Award – in recognition of an individual whose commitment of work, time, energy, resources, etc. makes the community a better place to live for everyone.

The awards presentation will follow CAP-21’s Annual Meeting at the Forge Motel.

Deadline for nominations is Friday, October 7th and should include the name of the individual, the business or the organization, the town they are from, and the reason for the nomination.

NOTE: Republican incumbent Daniel Levi will be running unopposed for his seat on the Town of Inlet Board. Levi was elected to the board in 2007. He originally took office in 2005 when he was appointed to the board to complete the term of the late Don Bird.
