Six area Polar Bear Ski Club racers competed at the Kandahar Championships at Whiteface Mountain on Sunday, March 4th.

Ally Cooper, Hannah Kane, Blake Greene, Calvin Barkauskas, Tyler Kane and Adam Levi were among the 138 qualifying racers from across New York state who competed in the races.

To qualify for advancement beyond the Kandahar Champion-ships, racers from each J5, J4, and J3 class had to place in the top six—or end up in sixth place overall—to qualify for competition at the Piche Invitational at Gunstock Mountain Resort in New Hampshire on Saturday, March 17.  Continue reading →
