The Old Forge Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank recent donors to their annual fund drive conducted in conjunction with the Firefighters Drill School.

The funds collected during this period support rescue operations and equipment as well as education for volunteers.

In the weeks before “Fire School” committee members contact local business owners in person to offer them a poster welcoming visiting firemen and explaining that much of our equipment and training is not taxpayer funded.  Continue reading →
