VIEW, the arts center in Old Forge, will celebrate the opening of four new exhibitions with a public reception on Saturday, January 17.

Paradigm Shift: Visual Reflection by Old Forge artist Robert Imundo, is a fantastical body of work that draws on dreams, surrealism, and mysticism. In a series of oil paintings and graphite drawings Imundo creates a world where rocks float and trees grow as mirrored images of thems. The exhibit will be on display from January 10 through May 24.

Branches, by Alice Valenti, is comprised of a series of small landscapes in graphite, ink, gouache, colored pencil and charcoal.  Continue reading →
