Richard Dean “Sox” Lobb, 83 of Pen Argyl, PA passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the former Clementine M. “Tina” Armelin. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on July 1st.

Born in Bangor, PA, August 26, 1928, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Olive (Beck) Lobb. Prior to retiring in 1985, Sox was employed as a truck driver for Matlack Trucking, prior to that he was employed by Alpha Cement, Silver Line Trucking and Fiorot Trucking.

After retiring, he and his wife Tina owned and operated the Big Moose Station in Big Moose. Later he worked part time for A. Scott Enterprise and Nolin Perin. Continue reading →
