Women’s softball team Matt’s Hot Screamers of Inlet concluded a perfect 10–0 season on Tuesday evening, August 11, with a convincing 13–3 win over the Black Widows of North Creek. The game was played at Indian Lake with Inlet as the home team.

After taking care of business during the regular season, compiling an 8–0 record, the Screamers knocked off the Black Mountain Bears 15–6 on Tuesday, August 4.

This set the stage for a showdown with their old rival from North Creek, who defeated Basil’s Angels in their first play-off game. Continue reading →

Webb Boys Alpine Team receives citation for State Championship win

State Senator Hugh T. Farley (R, C, I – Schenectady) presented the Town of Webb UFSD Boys Alpine Ski Team with a NYS Citation on Friday, March 13 for their 2015 State Championship win.

The Senator presented the honor to team members Connor Glasser, Carter Lawrence, Adam Levi, and Charlie Uzdavinis prior to the start of the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Old Forge. Continue reading →
