Card of Thanks

The family of Cecelia Buckley is so very grateful for the tender loving care shown to her and to us over recent years by all of the Home Aide Service of the Central Adirondacks (HASCA) personnel.

We especially want to thank Roberta Konecny, RN, and aides Linda Hippisley, Dianna Klastow, Arlene Peabody, Ruth Brussel and Diane Stefanko.

Ceil loved you all and valued your friendships. She and we are so appreciative of this service organization. Without their assistance, Ceil would not have been able to live out her life comfortably in her beloved home.

Thanks to the Herkimer County Office for the Aging and Herkimer County Alternatives for providing programs which funded her care.

We wish to thank all at Senior Network Health and the At Home Care Agency, especially Nurse Tiffany for her expertise. The end of Ceil’s life was a trying time for her. Her caregivers and the service she received provided us comfort.

Thank you Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL) and staff for Ceil’s in-home care and the adult day program in Inlet, which she loved attending on Wednesdays. Karen Anderson and her staff and volunteers are wonderful.

Thanks to Community Transportation Service (CTS) and to all who volunteer to drive, especially Eileen Tobin. Ceil so enjoyed the Christmas outing.

To Dr. Socash, Dr. Webster and all the staff of the Health Center, thanks for the great care through the years. Thank you, Joanne Maly, for assisting in Ceil’s recovery from her broken arm and spirit.

Our community is so fortunate to have these services available. Our experience getting to know all of the wonderful people who staff these organizations has been a pleasure. They enriched Ceil’s life beyond expression and beyond measure. We are so appreciative.

Gratefully,

Betty Rannels, on behalf of Ceil Buckley’s family
