Lucky Duck winners named in Ski Patrol Fundraiser

pond skimming The McCauley Mountain Ski Patrol conducted a Lucky Duck Raffle that was held in conjunction with the pond skimming activities at McCauley Mountain on Sunday, March 17.

Numbered ducks were purchased by individuals, released in the pond and rescued by the ski patrol. Lucky winning duck holders received gift cards and merchandise donated by area businesses.

The event raised approximately $1,500 for McCauley Ski Patrol equipment and consumable medical supplies, according to patrol spokesman Brian Bamberger.

The winners of $25 gift certificates to DiOrio’s Market were Caitlin Caryl, Hanna Morehouse, and Wyatt Beckingham.

Winners of $50 ARO certificates were Todd Offen, Nathan Gale, Willie VanValkenburg, and Denise Payne.

Maggie Queen and Kathy Crowell each won two admission tickets to Enchanted Forest/ Water Safari, and Joe Baker won a $50 gift certicate from ADK Accents.

The winners of Meyda Tiffany certificates were Ryan Bamberger and Howard Smith, and David Aliasso won a Moose River Trip for two.

Chris Holt and Jennifer Kogut each received $25 gift certificates to Mountainman Outdoor Supply Co., and Ronnie Branch won a $25 gift certificate to the Old Forge Hardware.

Melissa Lennon won a helmet and Joe Baker, a $50 certificate courtesy of Pedals & Petals.

Symeon Tsoupelis and Joe Baker each won a Ski Tune Up, while Tim Kuhn took home a t-shirt and $30 gift certificate from Slickers.

And Chris Gaige, Angelo Debragno and Risner Green each won a bottle of wine.
