The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) will be hosting a soccer camp at the North Street Pavilion soccer fields in Old Forge from August 22 to August 26.
A typical day in AYSO camp includes a warm-up and move of the day, fun games, technical and tactical skills, competitions, nutrition and fitness techniques, and world cup tournaments.
Those interested can also sign up for goalkeeper and striker clinics. Children ages four to six years old may sign up to attend camp from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for a cost of $72.
Youth in the five to 16 year old range can attend camp from 9 a.m. to noon for $102.
All players are required to check-in and sign-out each day by parent or guardian.
AYSO soccer camp coaches are selected through UK International Soccer. Any family wishing to host-a-coach will receive a free scholarship to soccer camp.
