The Town of Webb Historical Association’s annual Victorican Tea will be held at the Thendara Town Hall on Wednesday, August 12 at 12:30 p.m.

The event will include a wide selection of sweet and savory treats, tea by the pot, and interactive performances by three area actors.

Representing the American colonies, Lee will portray “Annie” who will tell the story of the “dumping of the tea” at Boston Harbor.Hamlin will play a Eurasian woman and tell her story while demonstrating the preparation and sharing of tea in the Asian style.

And Milligan, as Englishwoman Evelyn Downing, will describe to guests what times were like in England at the close of the 19th century.

Along with the tea and fare served, there will be a drawing for “Seven Days of Decadent Desserts.”

Seven lucky guests will go home with an invitation to have “a decadent dessert for two” at an area dining establishment.

An assortment of gift baskets prepared by Cathy Trevett will be on display for silent auction. Tickets are $15 per person.

Proceeds will benefit the Goodsell Museum, home of the Town of Webb Historical Association.
