Supervisor Ted Riehle gave a status report on the TOBIE Phase Two project, particularly as regards to the planned public restrooms in Eagle Bay, at the Town of Webb board’s monthly meeting held on Tuesday, June 12th.
He said a bid letting is expected by the end of July for construction work relating to the project.
Those bids are expected to be opened in August, with the awarding of contracts immediately or soon thereafter.
Actual construction is expected to start in the fall.Town attorney Richard Frye reported that easement and title issues in Eagle Bay had been addressed and that filings relating to them were found satisfactory by the Adirondack Park Agency.
Grant money associated with TOBIE Phase Two must be spent by September 2013, according to the terms of the grant agreement, Riehle said.
