A personal note to all my fellow employees at the Old Forge Hardware—I will miss you a great deal when I retire.

You have all been a great source of support over the years. AND what a surprise when I walked into The Knotty Pine Restaurant and most of you were there to honor me…at a surprise party (which really was a surprise).

I had a great time with the scratch off lottery tickets. Leave it to my friend Bonnie to think of something I really enjoy…and knowing my favorite color.

It doesn’t seem possible that 40 years have come and gone but they surely have. I have been here for many bosses, and I have entered many, many employees into the payroll records over those 40 years.

Some years I wasn’t too sure I would outlast those employees.

Most of my 40 years were extremely enjoyable and I will indeed miss waking up at 5 a.m. to get ready for work. If you believe that, then I have a bridge I can sell you!

I am looking forward to being able to do just what I want to do!!!

Like golfing, touring on our Goldwing with Tiny, doing more ride time on the ambulance, and sleeping in if I want to. I will probably end up working part time somewhere, but only if I want to!!!

I wish only good things for the Old Forge Hardware and her staff because they are the best.

Good luck to you all, and I have given Kristen H. my phone number.

Love and Best wishes,

Terry Ellen Lehnen, Old Forge

Former Bookkeeper at the Old Forge Hardware
