The 4th annual Adirondack Camp & Home Show presented by Brooker’s Hardware & Lumber, will be held at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center in Old Forge on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 8, 9, and 10th.
The hours are Friday from Noon-8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Admission and parking are free.
More than 40 manufacturers will showcase their home improvement and beautification products, and Instructional Workshops, Seminars and Demonstrations will be available all weekend.Vendors include: Marvin Windows & Doors, Integrity Windows, JN Corcoran, North Country Shed, Helmer’s Fuel & Trucking, Meyda Tiffany, Shelter, Cazenovia Equipment, Adiron-dack Bank, Hearth & Home, Middle Branch Wood-working, Griffith Energy, Carpet Time, Big Apple Music, Kiernan Generators and more.
Demonstrations will include making Pizza on Outdoor Wood Fired Pizza Ovens.
Among the programs will be a Friday, 1 p.m. informational session on how to keep whitetail deer from eating up your garden and yard, including tips on keeping them at bay.
On Saturday at 1 p.m. Spyder Rybaak, author of “Fishing Eastern New York” and “Fishing Western New York,” will give a fishing lecture. His books will be available for purchase and he will gladly autograph them.
The BLIZZARD, of radio station The Moose WBRV will be broadcasting live from the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and will offer prizes and giveaways.
An art display by JC Parker, a nationally-known artist from the Saratoga Springs area, will be on view in the main aisle of the Pavilion all three days.
Representatives from NYSERDA, Oneida Herkimer Solid Waste Authority, and Adirondack Park Agency will be on site during the show, and information from the Town of Webb Codes Office will also be available.
