Webb Way Committee says thanks

The Webb Way Committee would like to thank the sponsors of our recent dinner: Community Bank, NA, Adiron-dack Bank, and Walt’s Diner.

A special thanks goes to the 122 community members who came to our dinner, and the teachers, administrators, and staff for baking, setting up, serving, and cleaning up after our Webb Way dinner on May 15th.

A special thanks to Mr. Paul Giesler and Mrs. Lisa Hanford for their excellent guidance in the kitchen. We received many compliments on the meal! The dinner was very successful in raising money for rewards given to K-12 students each quarter of the school year as recognition for their positive behaviors.

The Webb Way Committee has also been busy planning for the end of the year positive behavior rewards.

They have plans to reward all students in grades K-12 who received either an ice cube or a chain link (written recognitions for following The Webb Way of “Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Love to Learn, Achieve Excellence”) during the 4th quarter.

There is also a plan to reward all K-5 students for exhibiting positive behavior throughout the whole year.

The committee will also acknowledge those students in grades 6 to12 who did not have an office discipline referral during the 4th quarter and a special reward will be given to those students in grades 6 to12 who had no referrals during the entire school year!

They will get recognition during the last week of regular classes.

The Webb Way Committee would like to thank all of the members of the community who have helped support our students throughout the year, both through donations and support of our dinners.

Thanks too to all the teachers, administrators, and staff members who volunteer for the dinners and support the “Jean Friday” fundraisers.

We appreciate all of the donations that have helped provide rewards for the students.

If you are interested in joining this committee, have ideas to share for rewards, or would like to donate to our fundraisers or recognitions, please contact Mrs. Judy Ehrensbeck during school hours at (315) 369-3222 ext. 3114.
