CAP-21 announces 2012 board members, officers

CAP-21 has held its elections and announced those will serve as the organization’s board officers for 2012.

Tim Foley was elected president; Sandy Booton, vice president; Carolyn Trimbach, treasurer; and Page Hannah, secretary. Also, Elise Carlson, Mike Cunningham, and Mike Farmer were appointed to serve on the CAP- 21 board for 2012.Elise Carlson, is currently Events Director at VIEW, and according to Foley, brings her extensive experience in events marketing, coordinating program events, providing customer service and video production skills to the organization.

Mike Cunningham is an English teacher at the Town of Webb Union Free School District and currently serves on the Cornell Cooperative Extension for Herkimer County board, is president of the Town of Webb Scholarship Fund, and helps to brings a focus on youth concerns and issues.

Mike Farmer is director of the Town of Webb Tourism and Publicity Department and currently serves on the board of the Central Adirondack Association (CAA) as well as the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA).

CAP-21 hopes Farmer will help bring a focus on supporting economic revitalization through our tourism based economy.

“With the addition of these three talented and diverse individuals to our core board members, we look forward to an exciting year and the continuing contributions of CAP-21 to the life of our communities,” President Foley said.
