The Free & Accepted Masons from North Woods Lodge #849 in Old Forge wish to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to all who donated furniture and/or appliances to help those in need after the floods earlier this year.
Many people have lost so much, some have lost everything.
A special “thank you” to Michelle and Steve at North-South Connection Trailer Sales and to Tom and Lori of Wilderness Interiors for the generous use of your trailers.
Without the use of your trailers, we would not have been able to deliver. When asked, they both said ‘yes’ without hesitation.
Another “thank you” goes to the Adirondack Weekly for helping with these notices.
Everything was delivered this last weekend on Sunday the 18th.
Couches, chairs, kitchen tables, ranges, dishwashers, small kitchen appliances, TV’s, stereos, cabinets, lamps, sleepers, beds, bedding, dressers, book cases, end tables, recliners, winter clothing… the list is incredible and the quantity overwhelming.
Two pickup trucks mounded and both hauling huge packed trailers.
All the generous donations will help people, who we may never know, rebuild not just a house, but rather a home.
For all those who gave, helped or assisted, know your charity will always be felt for many years to come.
