To the Editor:
Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy reading your newspaper. We pay to have the paper delivered to our home in Rome and I look forward to reading it each week.
I especially enjoy the columns written by local citizens: Charles Herr, Kelly Hamlin and Mitch and Gary Lee.
However, my very favorite is Jan from Woodgate, “Just Call me Mrs. Lucky.” She really gets to the heart of matters and presents the woman’s point of view with so much humor.
I always get a laugh from her column and have not only reread many of them but have saved some to share with friends.
Would she consider putting these columns together publishing them in a book? I know I would purchase a number of them for myself and my friends.
Thanks Jan for making me smile. I hope to meet you sometime at the diner in Woodgate.
