A Nathan Farb photographic print on display in View's exhibit space

Photographer Nathan Farb will have a series of photographic works on display in the “Adirondack View Finders: Farb, Bowie, Battaglia, Heilman” exhibit at View which will be on display until March 3, 2012.

Farb has been examining the Adirondack landscape for over 50 years.

Combining romanticism with a probing scientific eye, he is considered the preeminent photographer of The Adirondacks.

His photographic work has been published in many museums and global publications including, The Museum of Modern Art, and New York Times Magazine.

As visitors enter the exhibition, the first piece that they will encounter is Farb’s six by four foot photograph entitled “Ray Brook Pond.”

Also included in the exhibition is a digital slide show of photographs taken of the damage caused by Hurricane Irene throughout the Adirondacks.

Admission to the exhibit is $10 for non-members and $5 for members and groups of six or more. Admission is free for children under 12.
