Margaret Mercier passed from this life into the loving arms of her already waiting husband, Eddy Mercier, on November 16, 2011.
Margaret was born in Burlington, Vermont on June 24, 1919. She was 92 years young.
She and Eddy came to the Adirondacks in 1967.
After the death of her husband in 1986, Margaret moved to Lakeside Terrace where she lived until eventually moving to A. O. Fox Nursing Home in Oneonta, where she lived out the rest of her life.
She leaves behind two daughters: Debbie (Rick) Kipp and Patricia O’Connor and her companion, Jerry; six grandsons, Rick and Kerry Kipp, Toby and Christopher Baerman, and Aaron and Brian O’Connor; and one special granddaughter, Nikki Gallucci.
She will also be missed by many great grandchildren.

Rest in peace Mom, we will love you forever.
A private graveside service is planned for the spring.
