Webb Police Dept. reports recent activity

The Town of Webb Police Department has reported the following recent law enforcement activity.

• A 63-year-old Minneapolis, MN man was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated with a Blood Alcohol Level of 0.08% or Higher, Failure to Use Turn Signal, and Failure to Keep Right on Thursday, November 25 at 6:57 p.m.

According to the report, a traffic stop on a vehicle for several vehicle and traffic law violations resulted in the arrest of the defendant for the above listed charges. Webb Police conducted a traffic stop on Park Ave. in Old Forge after witnessing a vehicle fail to signal a turn at an intersection and further witnessing the vehicle operate in the wrong lane on Lamberton Ave.

The defendant was arraigned at the Town of Webb Court and released after posting $1,000 bail. He is scheduled to return at a later date.

• A 32-year-old Eaton, NY man was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operator (misdemeanor), Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and No Seatbelt on Wednesday, December 2 at 10:20 a.m.

According to the report, the man was arrested following a traffic stop on State Route 28 in the Town of Webb. Investi-gation determined that the man was operating said vehicle with a suspended drivers license. He was issued appearance tickets to answer to the above listed charges in the Town of Webb Court at a later date.
