Bill Brooker, owner of Brooker’s True Value Hardware and Lumber, will present the Adirondack Camp and Leisure Show at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center in Old Forge on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 5, 6 and 7.
The event will feature dozens of vendors showcasing their services and lines of home improvement and beautification products that will appeal to the present or future Adirondack homeowner.
Among the vendors are Meyda Lighting, Awnings and Canopys by Sure Seal, Classic Kitchens and Bath Design Center, Kiernan Contractors Generators, Adirondack Hearthside Realty and Vacation Rentals, Carpet Time, Adirondack Garage Doors, Helmer’s Fuel & Trucking, The Hearth Shop, Dog Watch of Upstate NY, Sunspace Sunrooms, Marvin Windows and Doors, Integrity Windows and many more.
There will also be information seminars on basic home repair and improvements, and product demonstrations including how to use coir logs to preserve your shoreline.
New York State fishing guide/outdoor photographer/author Spider Rybaak will offer a presentation on fishing in New York state.
Hours for the show are Friday from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission and parking are free of charge.
