CAP-21 is seeking a volunteer coordinator for its Flower Basket initiative. This individual must coordinate teams of volunteer waterers throughout the summer from June 14 to Columbus Day.
The coordinator must be personable, flexible and have their own transportation capable of carrying a water tank, such as a truck or SUV.
Responsibilities include: Coordination and communication with watering teams in Old Forge, Eagle Bay, Big Moose, and Stillwater; making sure all equipment and materials that each team uses is available and in working order; making sure flower baskets are thriving; and serving as back-up waterer when necessary.
Coordination takes 2 to 3 hours per week, while a water circuit takes about 2 hours per week. Individual will function as a paid contractor with CAP-21.
