Alicia Burnett, a 2011 Town of Webb school graduate and sophomore at Herkimer County Community College (HCCC), was awarded the Nancy Fabrozzi Award, the Most Improved Runner Award for Cross Country, and the Coach’s Award for Women’s Lacrosse at HCCC on Monday, May 4th.
She received the Coach’s Award from women’s lacrosse coach Dede SteMarie, who also named her Team Captain.
Alicia was on the women’s cross country and women’s lacrosse teams each of her college years.
She made it to nationals both years, receiving National Junior College Athlete Association (NJCAA) recognition for cross country.
The Nancy Fabozzi Award is given to the female student-athlete who displays the highest level of sportsmanship, commitment and dedication to her team and the college’s athletic program.
