Babysitting Clinic set at Old Forge Library

A four-session Baby-sitting Clinic will be held at the Old Forge Library on  Wednesdays, April 22 and 29 and May 6 and 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The clinic is open to students ages 10 and up who have not previously taken the class.

Teachers Karen Beck and Judy Ehrensbeck will discuss Educational Play at the first session.

Paramedic David Berkstres-ser will give a talk on Health and Safety on April 29. On May 6, TOW School Guidance Counselor Kandis Griffin will teach a class on Childhood Development, and on May 13, Dietician Kelly Hamlin will discuss Food and Nutrition.

Students must attend all four sessions to receive their Babysitter Certificate, however,  if one session is unavoidably missed a participant may take a quiz to qualify.
