The Town of Webb Drama Department had a huge success with last weekend’s play, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
“We sold about 565 tickets over the two nights,” said Valerie Gaudin, Webb music teacher and co-director of the production.

“But the biggest success was seeing the expressions on the young performers’ faces,” she said. “That said it all for me.”
The cast was excited to perform and bursting with energy and pride, Valerie said.
“This year’s cast was a joy to work with; such a strong group for only having twenty-four members,” she said.
Valerie also applauded the stage crew, which she said was phenomenal under the leadership of Casey Hamlin. And the sets created by Jeff Evans were over the top, she said.
“It’s a big let down when the show ends. But they’re already talking about next year,” Valerie said.
The Music Department left for a trip to New York City on Wednesday to see the play “Aladdin.”
“The kids LOVE going and I’m thrilled to be able to bring them,” Valerie said.
