Muriel Cohen Celebration: A card of thanks

Dear Friends,

Last week, the community came together for a wonderful tribute to Muriel Cohen at the Thendara Golf Course.

The Memorial Celebration raised over $10,000 for an annual Children’s Golf Camp, the first of which took place earlier this summer.

Muriel’s favorite past time was playing golf and she also enjoyed tennis, kayaking and playing games like Dominoes and Mahjong.

She loved helping people in the community and had fun celebrating with others, so the activities of the day incorporated all that she represented.

It was exactly how she would have wanted us to remember her.

We are humbled by and grateful for the generosity of her friends and family who donated time and funds to help this event unfold so beautifully.

Such an amazing honor was bestowed upon her and many people were instrumental in bringing this event to fruition.

We want to thank everyone who participated in this extraordinary day, from those who organized, to those who came to play and celebrate. It meant a lot to our family as we miss her tremendously.

This yearly event will help to keep her spirit alive in all of us. She truly enjoyed her time here and her spirit reminds us to take time to play and have fun with others regularly.

Special thanks go out to Sherri Noonan, who helped organize several aspects of the celebration and the golf camp, and David Sherline who was involved with fundraising, and all who were active in various committees.

Sincerely,

Neil, Mindy & Jeffrey Cohen
