Community Bank donates $25,000 to Wild Center outdoor walk experience

Community Bank has recognized the regional significance of Wild Walk by donating $25,000 to the iconic, outdoor experience that will change the way visitors to The Wild Center in Tupper Lake view the forest that surrounds them.

“We are so grateful for Community Bank’s continuing investment in The Wild Center. This new support for Wild Walk is an expansion of their multi-year support of our educational programs and is a generous sign of their dedication to the economic and educational well-being of the Adirondack community,” said Hillarie Logan-Dechene, Director of Philanthropy at the Center.

Opening on July 4th, 2015 there will be a series of events throughout the summer, including member-only previews, discussions with the designer, Chip Reay, and naturalist-guided activities helping visitors see the millions of different ways to look into the nature of the Adirondacks.

A different season, an elusive animal, a new bird nesting, each day Wild Walk will be different for those exploring it.
