The community is invited to gather at Niccolls Memorial Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, December 9 to take part in a special “Service of Remembrance and Light,” a service for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, lonely, or struggling with challenges during the Christmas season.
The service begins at 7 p.m. and will include a worship service of candlelight, parayer and music.
“The holidays may be the one season of the year when we are most aware of the void that the loss of a loved one has left in our lives. All are welcome as we seek hope and light in the midst of our darkness. Our gathering reminds us that we are not alone,” said Niccolls Pastor Lawrence Bartel.
Niccolls Memorial Church is located at 228 Crosby Blvd. in Old Forge, next to the library.
