Regarding the “Police Audit” article in the Adirondack Express the week of October 21 through 27, 2014, which implies Bob Dibble is part of the internal audit for the Town of Webb Police Department, I, Bob Dibble, would like to set the record straight.
In no way, shape or form am I involved with the ongoing audit of the police department.
As former Police Chief for the Town of Webb Police Department, I was asked to come on board to assist interim Chief Kalil, who is assuming a dual role as chief in the Town of Inlet and Webb, with administrative matters until such time as a new chief is selected.
Again, is Bob Dibble involved with the audit? No.
Is Bob Dibble assisting with administrative duties within the department? Yes.
