The Old Forge Volunteer Fire Department’s Firefighter’s Drill School ‘14 wrapped up on Sunday, September 14 with the drawing for the winners in the Big Bucks Give-Away raffle.
A large crowd was gathered at the fire hall as Jamie Loson pulled the winning names.
Taking the top prize of $9,158.50 was Arlene Bolmer of Old Forge.
The second place winner was Brian Murphy of Old Forge who won $4,931.50.
Richard Hyde of Old Forge won third prize of $4,227.
Fourth place winner of $3,522.50 was Carol Canter of Marcy.
The four 5th place winners, each taking home $2,818 were: Joseph VanValkenburg of Old Forge, Linda Bailey of Palmyra, Leroy Baker of North Syracuse, Drew Webster of Eagle Bay.
There were four 6th place winners of $1,409: Robert Southworth of Syracuse, Jim Farrell of Ossining, David Smith of Schenectady, Charles Weiland of Cicero.
The four 7th place winners of $704.50 were: Joan Marks of Old Forge, Martin Coughlin of Lake Harmony, PA, Maria Marris of Vernon, Jane McLachlan of Inlet.
