An artist reception for celebrated photographer John Radigan will be held at Gallery 3040 in Old Forge on Friday, August 29 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Attendees will have the opportunity to view Radigan’s photographs and talk to the artist about his work while enjoying refreshments.
During the event, Radigan will unveil his latest endeavor, a large triptych work of art. He will also give away a print of his image, Clouds, to one lucky attendee.
Radigan, executive director of Adirondack Photography Institute, is also a lecturer, workshop instructor and poet respected for his print interpretations of nature.
His work has received many awards and been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in venues such as Cleveland Botanical Gardens, Lake Placid Center for the Arts, Lake Metroparks; and the Fine Arts Association of Willoughby, Ohio.
A book that combines his photography and poetry, The Adirondack Heart, will be released soon.
