Travis Hannack of New Bedford, MA hit a hole-in-one at the Inlet Golf Club on Saturday, July 12th. He shot the ace on 145-yard Hole #2 using a 9 iron, with Don Scott, Levi Nugent and Jack Dogers witnessing the feat.
Hannack was one of 34 golfers/friends who annually travel from all over the U.S. to take part in golf excursions at the Inlet and Thendara Golf Clubs. Known by Inlet Golf Pro Mike Beck as “The Don Scott Group,” they have come to the area to play for the past 27 years.
According to Beck, it’s the first time anyone in the group has scored a hole-in-one during the outing.
