At 2 p.m., the fleet will depart for a grand parade though the one and a half mile channel that marks the beginning of the Fulton Chain of Lakes.

This year’s boat show will celebrate the 100th birthday of OMECO, a 25 ft. Fay & Bowen owned by Bill and Wendy Nolan. Omeco has spent her entire 100 years in the same boathouse with the same family at the PAOWNYC property on Fourth Lake.

Dunn’s Marine from Big Moose Lake will give free rides aboard their 1955 Chris Craft “Grace” during the show.

The Fulton Chain of Lakes Association (FCLA) will provide a table at the show where aquatic plant samples can be dropped off. Samples should be placed in a ziplock bag with a note attached, giving the day the plant was found, its location and the contributor’s name and phone number. FCLA directors will be present to answer questions and provide information.

Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase on-site by Covey Pashley American Legion Post 893. Home baked goods can be purchased from the Friends of the Library.

The event is hosted by the Adirondack Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society and co-sponsored by the Central Adirondack Society, Brooker’s Hardware & Lumber, the Strand Theatre, Shelter, Water’s Edge Inn, Rivett’s Marine, Adirondack Bank, Water Safari/Enchanted Forest, T.A. Down Contruction Co., DiOrio’s Supermarket, and Old Forge Camping Resort.
