Marge and Tom McCabe of South Shore Road, Old Forge, and Plymouth, MA recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a cruise on the W.W. Durant on Raquette Lake.
Joining them in the celebration were their children and spouses, and many of their grandchildren.
The McCabes were married on a snowy February 8, 1964 in Rochester, NY. Both Marge and Tom have been coming to the Old Forge area since they were children, said daughter Liz Cowles, so they wanted to celebrate their anniversary in the area.
And they decided a cruise on Raquette Lake would be better in July than February.
