The Boy Scout Troop 414 of Pasadena, Maryland made their way to Old Forge on Monday morning, June 23, as part of their summer track, according to the troop’s Assistant Scout Manager, Jamie Colomb.
The fourteen Boy Scouts and four of their dads launched from the Town of Webb Information Center in eleven canoes.
They were headed to Alger Island, on Fourth Lake for an overnight trip.
After that, the scouts planned to travel to different locations for whitewater rafting, touring of various attractions, and rock climbing.
