Key Leader is a Leadership Training Program for high school students ages 14 to 18. The program provides both a classroom component and hands-on outdoor workshops, which reinforces the classroom teachings.

Students learn integral life skills focused on integrity, community building, pursuit of excellence, personal growth and respect and encourages them to take stock of their values and think outside their comfort zone.

Kiwanis Member and Town of Webb School Key Club Advisor Diane Amos provided transportation to the event and Carolyn Trimbach, Central Division Lt. Governor and Central Adirondack Past President, brought the three attendees home. “The girls were excited and enthusiastic about their experiences at the Key Leader event and expressed interest in attending again next year as leaders,” Trimbach said.

Central Adirondack Kiwanis sponsors a number of child-oriented service programs. Anyone interested in joining can contact membership Co-Chairs Doc Foley at (315) 794-9460 or Bob Teesdale at 369-5425.
