Town of Webb School hosting an election day Chicken BBQ

The Webb Way Committee at Town of Webb UFSD will be holding a Barbecue Chicken fundraiser on Tuesday, May 20, the day of the school budget vote.

The dinner will consist of barbecue chicken breast, coleslaw, potato salad, beverage, and homemade dessert. (As a meatless alternative, veggie burgers will also be available, upon request.) It will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Town of Webb School cafeteria.

The cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children ages eight and under, with a maximum family contribution of $20. Take-outs will be available.

The dinner will be cooked and served by Town of Webb School faculty, administration, and staff.  It is being sponsored, in part, by Community Bank, NA and Adirondack Bank.

Proceeds will go directly back into student rewards for grades K through12 students recognized for following the Webb Way “Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Love to Learn, Achieve Excellence.” The main focus of this last year’s program has been anti-bullying.

All are welcome to come and help support the program and enjoy dinner with family and friends before or after voting on the school budget.
