Please support Kathy Nahor as a write in candidate for the Town of Webb UFSD School Board in the election next Tuesday. Nahor has served on the board for over ten years and is currently the school board president.
I have attended a great many school board meetings, both before and during Nahor’s time on the board, and believe she is among the best board members I have seen.
Nahor effectively advocates for student opportunities while simultaneously being fiscally responsible.
Nahor has agreed to being a write-in candidate for the remainder of a five-year school board seat.
With two of the five seats up for a vote, and only write-in votes possible, I feel that it is important that we maintain continuity and experience, and return Kathy Nahor to the board.

Because write-in votes are specific to the particular board seat, which is represented by the door, write-in votes for Kathy written in the other door WILL NOT BE COUNTED for this seat.
Anne Garbarino is the only candidate to announce a commitment to be a write-in candidate for the open five-year term.
Anne has a background in education and sounds like a good addition to the board. To vote for Garbarino for the other seat, write her name under the second smaller door (slot #2).
Naturally I also urge you to support our students by voting YES for the Budget (Proposition #1) and YES for establishment of the general capital reserve fund (Proposition #4).
This reserve fund is particularly important in a small district like ours, to allow us to deal with periodic expenses that often represent a larger percentage of our budget than they would in a large district.
This savings fund allows for more consistent budgets, is fiscally responsible, and can only be spent on projects that we vote to authorize.
