Sub-zero air temperatures accompanied by gusty winds are enough to deter the average individual from heading outdoors for any reason, but in the hockey world such conditions are considered prime.
And that point was proven last weekend when despite the frigid temps, an estimated 3,500 hockey players and fans came to Inlet for the 6th Annual Adirondack Ice Bowl Pond Hockey Festival on Fourth Lake.
Forty-four teams from across the country competed at the event.
