Sheryl “Sher” Pierson, 75, of Webster, NY passed away on January 6, 2014. She leaves her husband of 54 years, David; children, Kathy (Ken) Schadt and Mark (Shari) Pierson; grandchildren, Tyler and Ethan Schadt and Danni Pierson; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Norman and Virginia Putnam; and a brother, Tom Putnam.
Born in, and having lived in Webster for most of her life, Sher also lived in Old Forge for 15 years and wintered in Florida. Throughout her life, she enjoyed volunteering at church, school and Webster Chamber of Commerce. She also loved being a member of the Webster Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Even with her health problems, Sher was known as the happiest person you could meet. Sher loved family, and beyond the love of her life, David, she cherished her relationships with her children and grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, January 10 at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 11 at Webster Presbyterian Church, 550 Webster Rd., Webster.
