Kiwanis Club welcomes new members

The Kiwanis Club of the Central Adirondacks inducted two new members at a Recognition Dinner held Monday, November 25 at North Woods Inn.

New members Donna Zuckert and Mary Jo Dickerson were introduced by Central Division Lt. Governor Carolyn Trimbach, who also presented them with their lapel pins.

Zuckert and her husband recently relocated to Old Forge following her retirement from teaching in Roscoe, NY. She was a former Kiwanian in Roscoe for close to seven years.

Dickerson is the Superinten-dent/Principal of the Long Lake Central School District. She and her husband reside in Long Lake where she has worked for five years. She has been in the field of education in upstate New York for nearly 30 years, teaching and guiding children from preschool to graduation in Family and Consumer Science and childcare.

“Today we have brought new members into our club. Donna and Mary Jo will contribute new energy and ideas that will improve the club in the future,” said Kiwanis President Mike Griffin.
