Richard Paul Ell, age 73, passed away November 9, 2013. After retiring to Florida and meeting his soulmate and companion Mary Suplee of Inlet, they shared their time between The Winds of St. Armands in Sarasota, FL and summers at Seventh Lake in Inlet.
Born June 5, 1940 in Malden, MA, Richard was a retired carpenter of 30 years in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America Local Union #218. He had been employed for many recent summers by the Inlet Golf Club and played in the men’s league as well as with his dear friends and fellow employees.
He was an active parishioner at St. Anthony Church in Inlet.
Richard was an avid competitive golfer of The Winds of St. Armands Friday League and Sunday Co-Ed League, as well as the Shuffleboard League, all in Sarasota, FL.
He was also an inshore pleasure fisherman and passionate sports fan, especially of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

There will also be a commemorative Mass at St. Anthony Church in Inlet on June 5, 2014.
