The deadline for completing the online School Collaboration Survey, conducted by the Jefferson Lewis BOCES, is Friday, October 4th.
The survey invites input from residents across 18 school districts to indicate whether or not they support shared services, reorganization and/or merging with neighboring school districts.
The survey is currently posted on each school district’s website. For Inlet, Old Forge and Forestport those links are inletcommonschool.org, towschool.org or www.adirondackcsd.org.
Paper copies can be accessed by calling the district offices at 357-3305 (Inlet) and 369-3222 (Old Forge.)
The survey includes 18 questions and, according to the website, should take only five to 10 minutes to complete.
The results should be available to the public in late fall.
