Town of Webb School teachers Mike Cunningham and Tim Leach took their students to the Old Forge Library on Tuesday, September 17 for a poetry workshop and book discussion hosted by Syracuse-area author Paul Kocak. 
Kocak provided readings from his books and discussed his work during a question and answer period. A haiku workshop, “Poetry as Seeing,” followed the discussion.
Kocak, whose varied career has included high school English teacher, newspaper copy editor, textbook editor and technical writer, has recently published “Tipp Hill Litanies” a tribute in poetry and prose that honors Syracuse’s historic Tipperary Hill neighborhood.
