International writing instructor to lead workshop

International writing instructor David Hazard, will lead two upcoming writing workshops at View.

The first workshop, Write an Amazing Memoir, will be held Saturday, September 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, September 15 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The fee is $125 for non-members and $100 for members of View. The fee includes a light lunch.

A second workshop, The Power of Great Fiction Writing, will be held on Friday, October 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, October 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fee isĀ  $125 for members and $100 members and includes a light lunch.

Hazard, who has helped launch and develop the careers of more than 200 writers in his 34 years in the publishing field, will share techniques known to highly successful writers of creative fiction.

His success in mentoring writers comes from his method of training, which engages the whole person, mind and body.

Hazard has worked as an author, publishing consultant, and writing and creativity coach. He has authored more than 30 books of his own, including several award-winning and internationally bestselling titles.

His 1984 book, Blood Brothers, led to a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for its subject, Dr. Elias Chacour, and is now published in 21 languages.
