As you look around the Front Door Diner and Back Door Bar it’s hard to imagine back to day one, when Albert and Tom decided to take on this venture. Only to a determined dreamer’s eyes did the space look like a potential to be a beautiful building.
With that determination and passion they began their journey into opening the bar and restaurant. Today, they are almost a month open and continue to push forward.
They would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the many hands that had a part in this process. There would not be an open sign out front had it not been for the support and generosity of so many.
Whether it was stopping in to say hi or laying tile until four in the morning, every little bit mattered. This community and the support system that it offers continues to amaze me. The Kiss and Greco family wish to say thank you and to provide Old Forge with good food and friends for years to come.
Special recognition is needed for those who took time out of their busy lives and offered their expertise. To the Kiss and Greco families, thank you for everything you have done. Not only as parents, but also as carpenters, painters, cooks, decorators, and so much more.
To Brian Schoen, you are a talented carpenter and one of the most generous and hard working people to come across. There are not enough thank yous in the world.
To Patrick Devlin, you have been Tom’s right hand man and he couldn’t have done it without your help. Thank you for your hard work and humor to get everyone through.
